He's also clearly familiar with the common writing tasks that confront the typical resident of the corporate environment and tailors his explanations, analogies, and examples accordingly.

It can be used like any other reference material you might keep in ebook form on your PDA. I would recommend first reading the book all the way through, absorbing Davis' suggestions. Then, as you work, it'll always be at your side if you need a quick reminder.
